Cant see a federation Naval force been very practical. One of the main weakness of the Trackers is agoraphobia. The idea of different versions of Skyhawks is a possibility and an interesting one at that. Cruise Missiles would also be a possibility.
The idea behind having a naval strike force would be to allow a multi-pronged attack on primarily the Iron Masters. A small aircraft carrier would give them a second airstrike platform, presumabley combined with long range attacks from wagon-train airwings.
